I had a totally different post for today until 9:30pm last night. I recently learned about Rosetta Thurman, a personal development coach (via Twitter). Last week she started hosting FREE 30-minute intention calls and this week, I decided to call in! Today’s call was about releasing negative energy and projecting your intentions for the week. The last person’s intention that was shared was what you see below. And below that is what Rosetta added.

I thought, “YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! The Thick. Fine. Healthy. streets need this!”

Be patient WITH YOURSELF. Plenty of people could have lost the amount of weight I’ve lost in much less time. But do you know what I did differently? I adopted a ton of healthy habits. I’M OFFICIALLY BOUT THAT LIFE! I was patient with myself. It took me 4 years to get to 192. FOUR YEARS! Why should I expect myself to lose it in the blink of an eye? I shouldn’t! And I didn’t!

Be kind TO YOURSELF. I cringe when hear people say they’re losing weight to love themselves. Especially when they cannot name NOT NA’AN ONE thing they love. Don’t do that! We all have things we don’t like. Focus (or figure out) what you DO love about yourself while you fix what you don’t like. Hating yourself is not okay and it doesn’t have to be the norm!

I may seem like the pillar of sanity (:P), but anxiety is no joke sometimes.

Let’s all start being patient and kind, and positive! Let’s start now, like right now. NOW!
