NaBloPoMo: Fitness Style!

Happy November! As you can see from the above image, I’ve decided to participate in NaBloPoMo or NaBloMo depending on who you ask (on Twitter). And in case you’re wondering (because I’m slow and it took me a while to figure this out), that stands for National Blog Posting Month or National Blogging Month.

So how did I come to this decision? I kept seeing people tweet about participating in monthly blogging challenges but I planned to wait until I blogged more regularly. Then, last week a MyFitnessPal friend that I’m also friends with on my fitness Twitter (@thickfinehealth) suggested a few of us participate.

At first I thought, NAW! Girl I only posted once in October. ONCE! 

Then I thought, Maybe this is a good idea! Maybe a writing challenge requiring me to write everyday is what I need!

I’m not saying I’ll post daily after this month, but I’m hoping to post more often. I’m looking forward to it!

I know this post isn’t really fitness related but on the plus side, it’s also one of my shortest. My first (second) post will be something I’m extremely behind on. Something we (I) look forward to every month Something so amazing and awesome that I’m ashamed I didn’t do it at the end of September. That’s right, it’s MONTHLY UPDATE TIME……..
